"in your hands"
The sculptures gathered in the chapter "In Your Hands" focus on the theme of willpower, opening an existentialist reflection on the position and condition of humanity in the Universe. While on the one hand, the individual is part of a cosmic system that determines and conditions them, on the other, the question arises as to how much willpower, work, and intentionality can influence the construction of one's being. It is from this tension that the conceptual core of the series arises.
Hands assume a central role: the primary instrument for the development of the intellect and the transformation of the world, they become a revealing element of individual identity. They preserve the traces of habits, experience, and time, to the point of containing, in fingerprints, a unique and unrepeatable trace of being.
Amplified in scale and placed in the foreground, the hands become the protagonists of a silent narrative, charged with existential sedimentations. They become guides in the inner darkness, a vehicle of awareness and responsibility, conveying a vision of the present oriented towards a message of possibility, construction, and positive tension towards the future.
